Sir Ranulph Fiennes Portrait

TMF Group, who currently sponsor Sir Ranulph Fiennes in his latest record breaking quest, commissioned a series of portraits of Sir Ran for their publicity purposes. He is currently on a mission to scale the highest peaks on each of the worlds’ continents. There are seven in total and his aim is to become the first person to achieve this alongside crossing both polar ice caps. John Lewis – Design Project

Amongst the many other projects shot this year with John Lewis, was their newly launched ‘Design Project’ range. This is a range of home items that demonstrate a progressive approach to design and manufacture to reflect the way we live today. Shot for their bespoke packing the images were printed using a deep copper metallic printing technique. Shooting them monochrome and using clean and simple lighting gave the images a unique look with loads of impact when applied to the copper treatment in printing, that was in sympathy with the black treatment on the packs where the text appears. This was a very interesting commission as it presented fresh challenges.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy Associates are my longest standing client. I’ve been shooting with them for over ten years, mostly shots of their beautiful products and packaging as their considerable product range develops and evolves. We have also worked on some in-store shots and some lifestyle. We always love it when Aromatherapy Associates visit, as the studio smells great for some time after! Here is a recent example of their products specially developed for Space NK.
